Drive Focus Educator keeps track of an unlimited number of users progress over time. The Drive Focus user learns, or re-learns, essential visual search skills and strategies. The users cumulative score data can help you pinpoint areas where they may be having problems.
Using fun, interactive video technology, the Drive Focus user learns to identify critical items on the roadway and decide when they are important. Examples of critical items are pedestrians stepping into the driver’s path, construction signs, and brake lights of the vehicle in front. Once the user has learned the critical items, they can develop their visual search skills by interacting with exciting footage of real-world driving experiences filmed throughout North America.
Users will want to keep retrying the drive to beat their last score - or their friends’ score. Users also report that, “After doing just one or two tours, you can’t help but notice critical items when driving.”
As the user taps on critical items in the video, the Drive Focus scoring system:
• Keeps track of the critical items the user saw and which ones they missed.
• Calculates how quickly the user saw the critical items.
• Determines if the user saw the most important critical item first.
By the time your student or client completes a tour, they are ready to transfer those skills to the road. And they just might be more relaxed, focused, and better able to react to actual driving situations.
